The Brebeuf Food Drive is Here!Brebeuf Jesuit is once again holding a canned food drive during Lent, February 22 - April 5. Period 2 classrooms will hold collections to compete and see which class can bring in the most donations.
In years past, St. Vincent de Paul has fed roughly 12,000 individuals each week, but that number has grown throughout the pandemic. Please consider donating to help feed the 3,000+ families that rely on St. Vincent DePaul for their food.
HOW TO HELP
To contribute to the drive, send any canned food items to Brebeuf Jesuit with a student. Benchmark collection days will happen every Day 2. To contribute monetarily, the Mothers Association has organized a donation link for the drive. You can also send in cash or a check with a student who can deliver it to the Community Service Office (make checks out to: St. Vincent de Paul, memo: Food Pantry).
Thank you!

support annika sood as she runs for lls student visionary of the yearBrebeuf junior Annika Sood is running for LLS Student Visionary of the Year. She has created a team of committed friends and family to partner with her on this journey. Their goal is to advocate for health equality, in addition to raising $50,000 for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. next friday - first friday adoration, confessions, and benediction
Next Friday, March 3, is the First Friday of the month. The 7:45 a.m. Mass will conclude with the exposition of the Blessed Sacrament and be followed by an opportunity for Eucharistic Adoration.
Adoration will conclude with benediction at 2:00 p.m. Current students, faculty, and staff can stop in for some quiet prayer when they have a moment. Parents, alumni, and other friends of Brebeuf Jesuit are invited to participate as well. For the security of our campus, we ask those visiting to sign up using the links below to commit to a particular time next Friday or for any of the upcoming First Fridays. We are looking for at least two to three volunteers to sign up for each time slot but can take as many as the chapel will fit.
Note, too, that the Sacrament of Reconciliation will be available during the first PRT (10:35 - 11:10 a.m.). If you are curious about these devotions, call or email Fr. Chris Johnson, S.J. at 317.524.7134 or cjohnson@brebeuf.org.
Additional opportunities for the sacrament of reconciliation during lent
The Sacrament of Reconciliation is available at Brebeuf Jesuit the first Friday of every month during the morning PRT and always by appointment or on the spot when our priests are available. During Lent, in addition to the first Friday morning PRT scheduled time for confessions, we will also have scheduled time for confessions during the morning PRTs on the other Fridays of March (10, 17, and 24).
