Work+ Program inspires new state legislation, becomes a model for Ohio
What began as a conversation several years ago between Miami's President Greg Crawford and Ohio Sen. William Coley is now new state legislation. Miami Regionals' Work+ program began in the fall of 2019 with four employer partners and 33 students. The first year saw an 88 percent completion rate among students, with a grade point average of 3.43.

The League of Legends game is a big deal in the arena of esports (electronic sports) and playing in a world championship is a gamer's dream. Alumnus Haitham Algbory ‘20 is now living that dream on the gaming industry's biggest stage, serving as the League of Legends assistant coach for TSM, one of the most decorated teams on the esports scene.
