COVID-19 UPDATES
  • The UO will continue to enforce safety regulations to prevent the spread of COVID-19 on campus. This means masks are required in all buildings.
  • Ventilation and cleaning has been increased in classrooms and offices. There's more airflow, cleaning protocols and sanitizer dispensers across campus.
  • All students and employees subject to the vaccination requirement who are not fully vaccinated are required to undergo weekly COVID-19 testing through the Monitoring and Assessment Program (MAP).
  • The best way to prevent illness is to minimize exposure to the virus. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention outline some general precautions to avoid respiratory diseases.
  • For more information about the UO's vaccination and safety requirements, check out our Vaccine FAQs page.
  • Free wellness kits available to students, faculty, and staff. The kits, which include hand sanitizer, UO branded masks and a thermometer, can be picked up with a valid UO ID at the EMU O Desk while supplies last. Limit one kit per person.
