University Commencement Ceremony |
This year’s University Commencement Ceremony is Monday, June 15, 2026, at Autzen Stadium. Gates open for graduates and guests at 7:00 a.m. To participate in the Gra(n)d Entrance, all graduates must be wearing regalia and in line by 8:00 a.m. We recommend that guests arrive no later than 8:30 a.m.
All graduates must RSVP to let us know they will be attending. Guest tickets are not required for this event. The clear bag policy will be in effect for all ceremonies.

These ceremonies will take place on Monday, June 15, and typically require graduates to RSVP in advance. Please check with your academic major department for information on how to participate in your ceremony. The clear bag policy will be in effect for all ceremonies.

Know Before You Go—PLEASE READ! |
Please review all the information below to ensure your 2026 commencement experience is a positive one.
The clear bag policy is in effect for Autzen Stadium, Matthew Knight Arena, and Hayward Field. Guests are limited to one clear bag per person, along with a small clutch or purse for privacy, or medical needs. Please refer to the policy link for details.

Graduates will enter Autzen Stadium on June 15 through the Mo Gate (just west of the South Gate) beginning at 7:00 a.m. Commencement staff and volunteers will assist with lining up graduates before they proceed onto the field through Autzen’s historic West Tunnel. To participate in the Gra(n)d Entrance, all graduates must be wearing regalia and in line by 8:00 a.m. Graduates will not be required to line up in a specific order. Those who wish to sit together should plan to enter and line up as a group.
Guests of graduates are not permitted to enter the Mo Gate or access the field. Guests should make their way into the stadium through the South, East, or North gates and may watch the Gra(n)d Entrance on the video board beginning at 7:00 a.m. The clear bag policy will be in effect.

UO Commencement is a substance-free event. This includes all activities and applies to both indoor and outdoor venues including the main University Commencement celebration. Students found in possession of prohibited substances could be subject to sanctions, including but not limited to the confiscation of the substance(s), being denied access to commencement activities, or notification to law enforcement regarding illegal substances.
The University of Oregon supports and respects the peaceful expression of diverse viewpoints. Please refrain from any disruptive actions during commencement ceremonies. Decorating your mortar board can be used as an expression of free speech. Adornments must lay flat on the surface of the cap and cannot extend beyond the border of the cap or fall below the perimeter, except for the tassel.

Parking and Transportation |
Monday, June 15: Please park at Autzen Stadium, Millrace Garage, or PacificSource North Lot
Commencement is one of the busiest times on campus, with approximately 30,000 visitors expected. To ensure sufficient space for graduates and their guests:

- Millrace Garage on UO Campus: 1625 Millrace Drive, Eugene, OR 97403
- PacificSource North Lot: 555 International Way, Springfield, OR 97477
- Lots open at 6:00 a.m.

Carpooling or rideshare is strongly encouraged to minimize traffic impacts.
- No public parking on campus, except in the Millrace Garage or those with ADA placards/plates. Vehicles without valid permits may be cited.
- Designated ADA parking for those with ADA placards/plates is available in:

- The 13th Avenue Garage on campus
- Lot 37 (west of Matthew Knight Arena)
- Lot 38 (southeast of Hayward Field)
- Lot 17 (west of Beall Concert Hall)

Shuttles on Monday, June 15
|
- Free shuttle service from the Millrace Garage and PacificSource to Autzen Stadium will begin at 6:30 a.m.
- Free shuttle service from Autzen (southside) to campus begins immediately following the conclusion of Monday’s University Commencement Ceremony.

Free shuttle service between Autzen Stadium, Millrace Garage, campus, and PacificSource will run on a continuous route until 7:00 p.m.

Access Shuttle (only on campus) will operate on Monday, June 15.
