Updates for the NESA Community!

We hope you have all been enjoying the summer and are looking forward to the upcoming Fall season as much as we are! Over the last few weeks we have been sending you emails to update you about what has been happening with NESA's temporary relocation plans and about all of the activities we have scheduled for you out of our new temporary venues.

We wanted to send you one more email this month with a few more updates so we could make sure that you were in the know about all things NESA!

Fall 2023 Registration is open!

Program registration is officially open now, both online and in-person. Click here to check out the new program guide.

Please note that while most of our programs are scheduled to start during the week of September 11, 2023, we kindly ask our members to consider registering as soon as they are able to so we can ensure our programs don't run the risk of getting cancelled due to low enrollment.

Office Relocation Reminder: NESA's office is temporarily located in the McClure United Church [13708 74 Street]. (See office hours posted below).

NESA's Hours of Operation

Please note the upcoming change in office hours out of our temporary office space at the McClure United Church.

NESA Summer Office Hours
Effective now through to and including Friday, September 1, 2023 NESA's office hours will be:

8:30am-3:00pm Monday through Friday.

Please Note: NESA will be closed on Monday, September 4, 2023

NESA Fall Office Hours
Effective Tuesday, September 5, 2023, NESA's office hours will be:

9:00am-3:00pm Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays

The office will be closed on Wednesdays.

Choralaires (p.34)

Updated Description: The NESA Choralaires are welcoming new members who love to sing! We learn to sing in
4-part Harmony and love to perform. All are Welcome - Auditions are not required. Still not sure? Try us on September 12th at 1pm for a practice - no commitment required. This session we will be learning Christmas repertoire. Click here for more information about this group!

The cost of the program was listed as $75 but the actual price is $84.

Book Donations at McClure United Church

Now that we are all moved in and organized at the McClure United Church, we are pleased to inform you that we are now able to accept select book donations.

If you have any pocketbooks or hard/soft cover books, please feel free to drop them off to the Church during our scheduled office hours.

Please note: We are not currently accepting magazines at this time.

'Lil Book Sales' at McClure United Church

As we start to accumulate your book donations, we are hopeful to begin scheduling weekly book sales in the coming weeks.

These sales are tentatively scheduled to begin at the McClure United Church on Mondays from 9:00am-3:00pm, located in the basement.

Our first book sale is scheduled for Monday, September 18, 2023.
Sales will be processed in the upstairs NESA office. Cash sales only.

Please Note: To prevent program disruption, you will be required to take the lift down to the basement to access the book room.

NESA's next Bottle Drive!

Our next bottle drive will be on Wednesday, September 6, 2023 from 8:30am-12:00pm at the Steele Heights Community Hall parking lot.
(Address: 5825 140 Avenue).
