CHIPPEWA CHATTER JULY 2024 |

Cloverly Greetings!
What an incredible summer it has been! At the end of June, I traveled to Madison, Wisconsin, with a few members from Chippewa County 4-H to attend the Summer Academy as an adult advisor. It was a fantastic event where we connected with youth from across the state of Wisconsin. If you are interested in learning more for 2025, please feel free to give our office a call.
In late June, we hosted our summer camp, serving over 100 young people enrolled in the Chippewa County 4-H Program! This is an exciting achievement for our county. The camp committee and I are already looking forward to planning for 2025. If you have any feedback, please reach out!
It has been a busy few months of fairs! Our young people exhibited at the Colfax Free Fair and the Northern Wisconsin State Fair, representing Chippewa County with numerous wonderful exhibits. I was thrilled to see the creativity and hard work on display and look forward to supporting our members at the Bloomer Community Fair. Keep up the great work!
Looking ahead, we have some exciting programs in store. Chippewa, Dunn, and Eau Claire counties have identified a need and are offering another set of day camps in August, planned and led by the Dunn and Eau Claire County 4-H Summer Interns. A huge round of applause goes out to Karley and Mac for the work they are doing!

Please take a moment to complete this survey with your family by July 30th at 12:00 PM. As 4-H and the Northern Wisconsin State Fair collaborate, we seek feedback from 4-H families to identify areas for growth and opportunity.
This survey is anonymous, unless you opt for a follow-up email communication. Your input will help us understand how 4-H can better support your families during exhibitions, volunteering, and more.
Additionally, We've included a section on the Snack Bar at NWSF; your feedback will assist the Chippewa County 4-H Leaders Association in making decisions for the 2025 NWSF.

Save the Date! The camp committee is excited to announce that Camp Counselor applications will open on October 1st! If you are a youth member in grades 8-13, we encourage you to start preparing your counselor application for 2025!
