Women have long been underrepresented in leadership positions within higher education, including roles such as department heads, deans, provosts, and university presidents. Despite the increasing presence of women in the academic workforce, leadership positions remain disproportionately held by men. Structural inequalities continue to limit opportunities for women, hindering their advancement into these critical roles. We invite you to join us for an insightful discussion on the importance of collective action in addressing these barriers, harnessing self-efficacy, and empowering women to pursue leadership positions, overcoming the challenges they face along the way.
Invited speaker, Dr. Mary Alexander, Vice Provost for Administration and OperationsÂ
