"Skipped Parts" by Tim Sandlin
"I liked this novel set in 1950s Wyoming way more than I probably should have considering its lack of inhibitions (warning: it's maybe not the book for you if your reading tastes lean away from sex and drugs). But it's a funny coming-of-age story that takes you on a wild ride with great characters that you will miss reading about once you finish. If you liked 'Geek Love' by Katherine Dunn and/or enjoy character-driven stories generally, this is the book for you!"
— Stella, George Reynolds Branch

Library Stories
“You. Are. Magical!” — a grandparent complimenting Miss Barbara’s ability to keep his grandson’s attention through a Playtime Storytime session at Meadows.
“Two little kids walked up and handed me an envelope, super excited. When I opened it, there was $43 and a note inside. The two kids Claire (8) and Levi (6) did a car wash and donated the money they earned to the library.” — Shannon, Librarian at George Reynolds
“I was making a card for a dad and his 2 daughters, and I told them they could check out 99 books today if they 'wanted to go nuts.’ The elder daughter quietly replied, 'I could totally do that,' and the younger daughter proudly exclaimed, 'She's a bookworm!’” — Alicia, Specialist at Main
