Happy 2025 Friends! We’ve got some dates on the calendar for some women’s ministry events. Take a look, mark your calendar with what works for you, and if there is an event you plan to attend, reach out to someone at PHUMC and invite them to come with you. Finally, if you have something you would like to see done or to do, let us know.
4th Annual Secret Galentine: Want to share a “galentine” surprise? Sign up here. Deadline February 5. You will be responsible for dropping off a valentine themed surprise to a PHUMC Galentine between February 10 and 13. Price suggestion $25-$30. The gift should include a gift tag with your name. When you sign up, there will be a questionnaire that will aid your secret galentine with getting to know you.
Book Swap: Thursday, February 27 @ 6pm/Madison Keifer’s. Bring a book and come enjoy some fellowship with your PHUMC friends. We have to pay with one check and a 20% tip will be added so we are asking everyone to pay $25 to aid us in covering the cost. Please RSVP by clicking here by noon Tuesday, February 25.
Enneagram Retreat: Friday, April 4 and Saturday, April 5 @ PHUMC. Cost $45. We need your help in order to effectively plan this retreat so please click here and respond whether you know if you can attend yet or not. Rev. Emily Sanford will be our speaker and we will get more information out closer to time (including answering an important question, what is the enneagram?) but for now, mark the date and fill out the survey.
Plant Swap: We’ve got plenty of time but know that in May this plant swap rolls around and we are always looking for a host. Let us know if you would like to host or just help plan this gathering.
Saturday, May 31 Tentative Day of Service: Our Day of Service did not happen last year but we want to bring it back! If you would like to help get this day organized (or know of an organization that PHUMC could support that day) let us know.
The goal of the Women’s ministry at Parkway Hills UMC is to provide opportunities for creating community for the women of the church and to reflect on what the women of the church can offer to the Madison county community.
