Join us the evening of September 3 at the Arvada-Duncan YMCA to launch the campaign and enjoy 🏀 Family Sports Night at the YMCA, 5 – 7 PM. This special evening will include two basketball clinics led by Denver Jr. Nuggets coaches; fun for the kids with crafts, games and a bounce house; and a short program with  CBS Colorado Reporter Justin Adams and Denver YMCA President & CEO Breezy Bolden. Families can enjoy a free meal and snacks from Chick-fil-A. You won't want to miss it!

Welcoming Week is a national celebration that brings together new-comer immigrants and U.S.-born residents at community-based events to promote cross-cultural understanding and raise awareness of the benefits of welcoming everyone. The Y participates in this celebration as it is part of our goal to be a welcoming place for all. Keep an eye out for opportunities to get involved in the fun, both in our centers and online. CLOSURE NOTICE: The Downtown YMCA will be closed all day on Monday, September 1 in observance of Labor Day. All other YMCA locations — Arvada, Aurora, Littleton, Southwest, and University Hills — will close early at 3 PM. 

Our newly re-opened Y Academy preschool at the Southwest YMCA has received a generous $14,000 grant from the PNC Foundation! This vital funding will help strengthen and expand our early childhood education programs, ensuring that young learners in our community receive the support, structure and care they need during the most critical years of development.

Located in a part of the city where access to high-quality preschool can be limited, our Southwest Y Academy plays a crucial role in preparing children for academic success and lifelong learning. We're deeply grateful to PNC for investing in our mission — and in the futures of the children and families we serve.

Following a brief closure, Southwest Y Academy's doors are open once again to young learners! for more information or to enroll, complete this interest form.

The YMCA will be at the Sunnyside Music Festival on Saturday, September 13 at Chaffee Park in Denver. This free, family-friendly festival brings neighbors together to enjoy live local music, food trucks, artisan vendors and a fun kids' area.
