Over the summer, we have seen an increase in the number of COVID-19 cases throughout the country. While no longer a pandemic, COVID-19 is endemic, and we expect to see cases among our university community this fall and throughout the academic year.

To ensure that you protect yourself and others while being in a campus environment, we encourage you to follow the university's guidance on staying safe and healthy.

Additionally, we are asking supervisors and faculty to be understanding with respect to the fact that employees and students may need to miss work or classes due to COVID-19 infection.
