Packapalooza™ Returns Aug. 26

Get ready for NC State’s Packapalooza™ on Saturday, Aug. 26 from 2 to 10 p.m. Students, faculty, staff, alums, families and members of the local community pack Hillsborough Street for a day filled with music, entertainment, family-friendly activities, food and everything that embodies the Wolfpack spirit. The day will close with a performance by musical headliner David Cook – winner of season seven of “American Idol” – and a grand finale of fireworks and a laser light show. Packapalooza™ is presented by Live It Up! Hillsborough Street.

News You Can Use

  • Volunteers are needed both for Convocation on Sunday, Aug. 20 and Packapalooza on Saturday, Aug. 26. Your support and willingness to assist are appreciated!
  • The Wellness and Recreation Center and Carmichael Gym have been featured in Campus Rec Magazine as the August Rec of the Month.
  • University Theatre hosts Sips and Scripts again on Aug. 28. Playwright sign-up begins at 5 p.m. and readings begin at 6 p.m. in the Kennedy-McIlwee Studio Theatre.
  • Registration is now open for Hydrate The Pack, a five-day wellness challenge designed to help participants identify their personal water intake, learn about the benefits of good hydration and incorporate healthy drinking habits into their daily routine. Three winners will be selected to win a custom Hydration Kit! Register and learn more.
