Dear Members of the Campus Community:
As we collectively welcome the springtime as a season of renewal and invigorating warmth (and one of the busiest periods on the academic calendar!), we write with a brief reminder that it is also a time for religious celebration and practice for many students, faculty and staff at SUNY New Paltz.
Ramadan, Passover, Lent and Easter, and other sacred dates are each steeped in their own rich history and devotional significance within their faith communities. Those who observe these holy days may make lifestyle changes, including to their diet and sleep cycle, or may otherwise have commitments that affect their ability to participate fully in academic and cultural life on campus.
