WalkAbout is a collaborative program between Miami University and the City of Oxford in which groups of volunteers visit off-campus students at their residences to welcome them to the Oxford community. Our volunteers provide useful information about living smoothly in Oxford neighborhoods.
The Walkabout project is based on the premise that every opportunity for students and community members to engage makes students aware of the impact of their behavior.
Students will be checked in via Community Connect on site and will earn volunteer hours!
