New Growth and New Creation!
It's spring and Eastertide, and reCreate Weekend was a wonderful to mark them both as we spent Friday and Saturday talking about God's work to restore, redeem, and re-create. (Click here to check out more pics from our weekend!)
That's my plan for the rest of this school year (and a lot longer!). As we've spent the semester talking about what it means to be the church, we've worked to give students opportunities to discuss but also live out that core identity of the church: being remade as a new creation in Christ. This should affect everything we do, whether it's our work, play, service, or relationships with others. Whether or not your student was able to attend reCreate weekend, I hope they'll join us for more opportunities coming up. There's more to be made new, and all are welcome along the way.
