Covid 19 Protocols
Given the declining infection rates in both Garfield and Pitkin Counties, effective Friday, Mar. 25, the Ranch House will no longer ask for proof of vaccination and will not require masks to be worn indoors. We do encourage guests to continue using masks if it makes them comfortable. We are grateful for everyone’s cooperation through the Omicron variant surge and we are hopeful that a “return to normalcy” will continue for the foreseeable future.

We continue to ask that you refrain from using the facility if experiencing any symptoms and that you follow the “common sense precautions” noted in that document. Should we face a future scenario of increased risk, we will re-evaluate our rules in line with that policy.

Annual Easter Egg Hunt

Kids should hop on over to the Ranch House for a family friendly celebration on Sunday, Apr. 17 | 9:30 a.m.-11:30 a.m. The morning will feature an Easter egg hunt, special craft, face painting and a visit from the Easter Bunny himself! The hunt goes quickly so be sure to arrive on time.

Golf Course Updates
As the snow clears, RVR Golf anticipates work on the course to ramp up in the next couple of weeks, including aeration of the fairways and sweeping. Chad's crew will have a lot of machinery out on course during this time and pedestrians should remain off of the golf course. Please use outer neighborhood walkways and sidewalks instead.
The golf course is expected to open the first week of April. Pedestrian traffic is not permitted on golf course property at any time during the golf season. We appreciate your cooperation and respect of this rule and hope everyone enjoyed off season access to the golf course!

RVR App Now Available
The RVR Ranch House mobile phone app is now available and ready for download on the Google Play and Apple App store! You can find the apps to download at the links below:
Or, you can search your app store for "River Valley Ranch". The app will use the same login credentials as the member portal. If you have not yet logged into the portal, you can do so by accessing your account here.
With the RVR Ranch House app, you can reserve lap lanes and tennis courts, sign up for fitness classes, register for events, use a barcode to enter the Ranch House, and manage your membership online.

Drinking Water (Part 1)
Carbondale's drinking water is tested every year according to federal and state requirements. The test results are reviewed to ensure no contaminant is present above the Maximum Contaminant Level (MCL) set by the federal and state standards. Historically, these standards have not been exceeded. Our source water and resulting drinking water quality is considered excellent as it requires minimal treatment to meet state and federal regulations. A copy of the latest drinking water test results can be found on the Town of Carbondale's website (CARBONDALE TOWN OF - CO0123167 - 2021 CCR).

Qigong For Better Sleep - Workshop
Tuesday, April 5 | 6:30 -7:45 p.m.
The ancient Chinese practice of Qigong (pronounced chee-gong), is a moving meditation that helps you relax, breathe, visualize and fall asleep. During this special workshop, we will learn why we practice different movements in the morning and the evening, depending on whether we are waking up and getting ready to go or slowing down, ready to sleep and refresh the body. We will do some relaxing movements to encourage energy flow and then lie down for a Qigong meditation. After the class, if you would like to receive the audio of the meditation, it can be requested so you can use it at home whenever you need it. Wear loose clothes so that you can relax. Bring a jacket so you are not cold when we lie still. You may even bring your own blanket and pillow if you'd like. All are welcome. No experience necessary. Click here to register.

Join us in the lap pool for Master Swim with Dave Clark! Master Swim is a low impact structured workout using techniques of interval training in an atmosphere of fitness, fun and friendship. This is a great opportunity to improve your swimming skills while working out! Participants should be able to swim at least two lengths of the lap pool at a minimum.
