Ranch House Renovation Update |
Ranch House renovations continue! Visit our website for the latest updates.
Lap Pool: Vestibule work is ongoing and is anticipated to be usable at some point next week. The pool remains open, but members must walk around the bend of the pool and use the silver ladder to enter the water.
Locker Rooms & Restrooms: Main facilities remain closed. Please use the East Wing family changing rooms and restrooms, where towels are available.
Parking: Renovation work and the leaf dumpster limit parking. Overflow parking is available on River Valley Ranch Drive and at the Old Thompson Barn. Thank you to Brian Leasure for sharing his lot! Contractor spaces may open to members when not needed.
Thank you for your patience and flexibility as renovations continue. We’re excited to see these improvements come together!

A Spooktacular Evening at the Barn! |
| |
|
What a beautiful evening for Halloween at the Barn! Perfect weather set the scene for festive costumes, neighborly fun and plenty of treats. Dustino’s Pizza Truck was a huge hit, serving up delicious pizza, while our Hocus Pocus Punch added a yummy signature sip to the celebration.
Penelope Potter delighted families with a magic show, face painting and balloon animals, and the potion station kept little witches and wizards busy mixing up their own creations.
Thank you to everyone who joined us and made the evening so much fun! A special thank you to Brian Leasure for generously allowing us to use the RVR Barn for this year’s Halloween Party. We’re so grateful for his support in making this fun community event possible!

RVR Fall Leaf Dumpster - Still Here! |
Fall cleanup is still underway, and the Ranch House leaf dumpster remains available for community use! Last year, we were able to keep it out well into November, and we hope to “leaf” it a little longer again this season. We’ll let the community know in advance when removal is scheduled.

Wildfire Risk Scores & Homeowners Insurance |
| |
|
There’s a new opportunity for Colorado homeowners to see how insurers assess wildfire risk. Under HB25-1182, insurers that use wildfire risk scores or models must share homeowners’ scores or classifications and information about available mitigation discounts. Homeowners can also appeal a score or classification directly to their insurer.
As you review your insurance paperwork, look for this information and ask your insurer how any wildfire mitigation work may be considered. Dated photos and records of improvements can help support the conversation.
