We have some volunteer opportunities that could be a great fit for you! We are looking for a couple energetic and outgoing individuals to assist with nutrition and cooking programs for kids. You'll help with lessons, engage with the kids and probably learn something yourself along the way.

Kelly H. came to the Y at a time when life was hard. She was a new mom caring for her child full-time, with all the work, stress and exhaustion that go along with that. She could feel her mental and physical well-being declining. She knew physical activity would help, but her family didn't have the money for a gym membership.
Then Kelly learned about YMCA scholarships, which can cover up to 75% of costs for YMCA membership and programs. Kelly applied for a scholarship and joined the Y. Now, she comes in regularly, drops off her little one in Adventure Zone and gets in the movement and connection that both her mind and body need. She, and her family, are doing great.
