USING NEURAL RADIANCE

The SIGGRAPH 2021 Technical Paper "Mixture of Volumetric Primitives for Efficient Neural Rendering" represents dynamic 3D scenes using a collection of moving volumetric primitives. These scenes can be learned from multi-view video data and rendered in real time.

CREATING A NEW NORMAL

The short film "A New Normal" uses augmented reality to subvert the limitations of digital intimacy. The result? A story about warmth, hope, and family. Experience a family scattered across the world as they learn the meaning of "home" and "belonging."

MEET THE MITCHELLS

The Netflix exclusive, “The Mitchells vs. The Machines,” showcases the artistic and technological challenges of creating a never-before-seen visual style. Focusing on a common problem in the technological age, this award-winning film depicts an everyday family’s struggle to relate as technology rises up around them.

A HOPE TO REMEMBER

We all want the ability to reconnect, remember, and relive our memories with our loved ones — “ReMember: Using Biosignals to Recall Memories of Companion Animals,” a SIGGRAPH 2021 Art Paper, allows bereaved pet owners to remember their companion animals through audiovisual effects.
