Congratulations to Sierra Vasquez
Sierra Vasquez, a graduating senior majoring in Biology (Ecology, Behavior and Evolution), was selected as one of twelve
Triton Student Workers of the Year by the UC San Diego Student Employment Office.
Sierra is one of four
Roy Little Fellows that support the outreach activities of the Natural Reserve System, and was instrumental in organizing the marsh walks at the
2025 Love Your Wetlands Day at Kendall-Frost Marsh Reserve. She was also one of the presenters at the Research Symposium, sharing her work to conduct a herpetofauna inventory update of the UC San Diego Reserves. Sierra's contributions to the Natural Reserve System are representative of the excellent work of all four of our Roy Little Fellows.
