| Pool Area Construction Update
The team continues to make great progress on the pool area! Now that snowmelt has been installed, we will soon be pouring the concrete section around the lap lanes!
While the official construction schedule shows the pool area reopening on June 10, our project team remains optimistic that the timeline will be accelerated and will continue looking for opportunities to move the schedule forward whenever possible.
The East Wing Addition is also on track, with drywall work finishing up this week.

We appreciate everyone’s patience as work continues and we look forward to sharing additional updates.

Protecting Our Dark Skies |
A quick reminder that the Town of Carbondale has a Dark Sky ordinance in place to help preserve our beautiful night sky. Outdoor residential lighting should be appropriately shielded, directed downward, and limited in brightness to reduce light pollution.
While the HOA does not set specific hours for exterior lighting, many neighbors use timers to ensure lights aren’t left on overnight, an easy step that supports both energy savings and clearer skies.
We kindly ask all homeowners to take a moment to review their outdoor lighting and make sure it aligns with Dark Sky standards. Every small adjustment helps keep our night sky visible for everyone to enjoy.

Stay Alert: Spot Phishing Before It Hooks You |
Phishing and spoofing emails continue to be a common tactic used by cybercriminals. While these messages can look legitimate, a quick click can put your information at risk so it’s important to stay cautious.
Cybercriminals often use information from public sources to impersonate real people. An email may show a familiar name, but the actual address could be slightly altered, so don’t rely on appearance alone. Always double-check the sender.
They may also use fake links that lead to convincing but fraudulent websites designed to steal passwords or account details or impersonate trusted contacts to gain your confidence.
If something feels off, pause. Don’t click—verify first.

Lawn Fertilization and Aeration |
Beginning on Monday, March 30.
We will begin turf plug aeration and fertilization application in Master Common Areas, as well as the Settlement and Old Town, beginning on Monday, March 30 (weather dependent) using all organic products.
Proper turf aeration provides for efficient use of water as it allows for greater penetration of surface applied irrigation water and minimizes surface run-off. Additionally, the aeration allows for the introduction of air into the soil which diminishes compaction and promotes soil health and root growth.
If you live in The Settlement or Old Town, please help the crews by keeping areas maintained by RVRMA clear of any debris and especially dog poop!
If you would like to be added to our opt-out list or have any questions, please email travis.green@rvrma.org.

Carbondale Advances Wildfire Preparedness |
The Town of Carbondale is using new, advanced wildfire modeling to better understand how wildfire could spread through our community and how to reduce risk. To make the modeling as accurate as possible, residents are asked to complete a quick, voluntary home survey. The information will only be used for wildfire planning (not inspections or enforcement), and participants can be entered to win local prizes. Click here to take the survey.
