A team of nine employees from NC State’s Division of Academic and Student Affairs (DASA), led by Assistant Vice Chancellor Justine Hollingshead, traveled to UNC-Asheville to assist with hurricane relief efforts.

Campus Health Launches Pharmacy App

Campus Health patients can now track and manager their prescriptions, request refills, chat with pharmacy staff, ask questions 24/7 and more through RxLocal a new mobile app that will connect them directly to the pharmacy.

Sisterhood Dinner

Before NC State starts its celebration of Women’s HERstory month in March, the university will kick off its annual celebration with the Sisterhood Dinner, scheduled for Feb. 24, 2025 at 5:15 p.m. in Talley Student Union’s State Ballroom.

The Career Development Center at NC State, home to the Howl Together workshops, offers a welcoming space where neurodivergent students can find support and resources tailored to their needs.

A Gift of Inclusion

Howl Together, a program created in the Career Development Center through a gift from NC State alumna Jessica Keiser and her husband, Daniel, is bringing another support system for neurodivergent students to NC State.

Part of this year’s De-Stress Fest, join the Faculty and Staff Assistance Program for a virtual workshop that will focus on how providing sincere compliments can help us build relationships and be grateful for others.

The DASA Winter Social is set for Thursday, Dec. 12 from 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. on the first floor of Park Shops.
This year’s De-Stress Fest, presented by NC State Wellness and Recreation, features a variety of events for students, faculty and staff to de-stress and recharge during exam season. These events are hosted by several campus partners, including Campus Health, the Counseling Center, African American Cultural Center, Pride Center, Women’s Center and more.
The final DASA Hours for faculty and staff with Vice Chancellor and Dean Doneka R. Scott is scheduled for Dec. 4 at 10:30 a.m.
The NC State Libraries’ sensory-friendly maps offer a variety of spaces to study, take a break or get work done.

Reminders

Chancellor Randy Woodson’s Holiday Open House is set for Dec. 6. All NC State employees are invited to a reception with festive holiday food at the chancellor’s residence.
The annual Wolfpack Winter Clothing Drive is now open. Donations for students and staff in need will be accepted at various drop-off locations around campus through Jan. 27, 2025.
The 2025 edition of Make-A-Thon, NC State’s annual sustainability innovation challenge for students, will be held Jan. 23-26, and judges and mentors are needed. By investing as little as two hours at Make-A-Thon, you can help create a powerful learning experience for NC State students.
Flu vaccinations are available for students, faculty and staff on campus via appointments and walk-in clinics! COVID-19 vaccinations are available by appointment.
The NC State Office of Undergraduate Courses, Curricula and Academic Standards will hold office hours every Friday for the rest of the school year at 10 a.m.
