The start of a new academic year brings a renewed sense of purpose, and that spirit is evident throughout our College. This fall, we are welcoming nine new faculty members to our community. They bring fresh ideas, expertise and perspectives that will strengthen our teaching, research and service. I am pleased to welcome them to Clemson University and look forward to the contributions they will make to our students, our disciplines and the communities we serve.

At Clemson, we strive to provide exemplary interdisciplinary educational experiences that will challenge and inspire students to think critically, pursue bold ideas and make a meaningful impact in their professions and communities. This month, we are proud to highlight several examples of that commitment through the accomplishments of our students and graduates. They represent the next generation of leaders, innovators and entrepreneurs who will help shape the future.
Across the College, students and graduates are putting those experiences into action. They are contributing to advances in health innovation, transportation, precision medicine, computing and many other fields. They are earning prestigious scholarships, taking on leadership roles, conducting innovative research and building careers that demonstrate the value of a Clemson education. Their success is made possible in large part by outstanding faculty members who challenge students, mentor them and create opportunities for learning inside the classroom and beyond, as well as the staff who support them. We are also strengthening the Clemson Experience by connecting students with mentoring, tutoring, academic support, coaching and career-development resources designed to help them thrive.
As we look to the future, support from alumni, friends and partners remains essential. Your generosity helps us recruit and retain exceptional faculty, provide transformative experiences for students and advance research with the potential to improve lives.
I invite you to click the “Make a Gift” tab below and join us in shaping the next generation.
Go Tigers!
