Registering for classes doesn't need to be stressful! We're here to remind you of some tips and resources from NTC College Advising to ensure a smooth registration process!

Before registering for classes, you should:
Confirm Your "Time Ticket": Find your “time ticket” – your specific date and time for registration – and set a reminder so you don’t miss it!
Draft a Schedule: Use the Schedule Planner to design your ideal class schedule, and have some backup options ready in case a class is full.
Stay Connected: Attend a drop-in advising event (see below!). Plus, you can meet with the Peer College Advisors and the Virtual Advisor.

Peer College Advisors are offering virtual drop-in advising during the Priority Registration period. Explore their schedule and access the Zoom link at advising.tulane.edu/about/peer-advisors.

Advising Registration Support Drop-Ins
November 11th-15th | 1-4 PM | Mussafer Hall, LBC, and The Hub Garage
Drop in for a quick schedule check with a College Advisor – no appointment needed! Come prepared with specific questions, review your degree audit beforehand, and have a tentative schedule in your planner. Advisors will be available in several locations across campus!

Late Night Advising
November 13th | 7-10 PM | The Hub Garage
Join NTC College Advising after hours for registration support! This event is drop-in format (no appointment necessary) and designed to support you through last-minute registration questions and short-term scheduling stress.

First-Year Advising Office Hours
November 19th & 20th | 1-3 PM | Howard-Tilton Memorial Library & The Hub Garage
Stop by the Howard-Tilton Memorial Library on November 19th or The Hub Garage on November 20th for quick support with academic planning, major exploration, and Spring 2025 registration.

Since 1999, the annual Florie Gale Arons Poetry Program has brought a distinguished woman poet to Newcomb Institute for a poetry reading and workshop. This year, the program will feature the 24th Poet Laureate of The United States and a TIME magazine woman of the year, Ada Limón. As the Poet Laureate, her signature project is called You Are Here and focuses on how poetry can help connect us to the natural world.
