Good afternoon Roseville Area Schools families,
Over the course of this last week, the situation across our country -- and in our own community --has changed significantly with regard to the spread of COVID-19. We know that many of you are concerned about returning to school on Monday, and news about closures of large events and colleges and universities is raising questions about how schools in Minnesota should best respond.
We are in constant communication with the Minnesota Department of Health and the Minnesota Department of Education in our planning. We were informed this morning that additional guidance to schools is forthcoming from the state. Guidance from public health officials is crucial information to help us to make the best decisions for our community.
Please know that the safety and wellbeing of our entire community -- our students, teachers, staff, families and neighbors -- is our utmost concern. We will share additional information with you later today.
