Fulbright U.S. Student Program Introductory Webinar

The Fulbright U.S. Student Program offers research, study and teaching opportunities in over 140 countries to recent graduates and graduate students with U.S. citizenship.

LMU students of all majors are invited to learn more about these competitive grants, including an overview of the English Teaching Assistant (ETA) Programs, the Study/Research Awards, eligibility requirements, and application timeline.

All or Multiple Disciplines
The Middle East and North Africa Regional (MENAR) Fellowship Program- Deadline: December 15. A one-year post-graduation fellowship for top graduates of American colleges at leading organizations in the Middle East and North Africa. There is a $25 application fee. Fellows are expected to cover their own airfare to/from the placement country, health insurance (typically available through your parents' plan), and visa application fees. 

College of Fine Arts
Jay Kennedy Cartoonist Scholarship- Deadline: December 15. Along with a completed entry form, applicants are required to send 8 samples of their own cartooning artwork (copies only); noting if and where the work has been published, either in print or on the web. Submissions are adjudicated by a panel of top cartoonists and an award is given to the best college cartoonist. Applicants do not have to be art majors to be eligible for this scholarship.

Frank R. Seaver College of Science & Engineering
Department of Energy Scholars Program- Deadline: December 17. The DOE Scholars Program offers unique opportunities that introduce students or post-graduates to the agency’s mission and operations. Participants in the DOE Scholars Program gain a competitive edge as they apply their education, talent and skills in a variety of scientific research settings within the DOE complex. Appointments are available for a variety of disciplines at participating DOE facilities nationwide.
