Our LSU Alumni Affinity Chapters Invite You to Join! |
Affinity chapters are alumni communities with a shared interest or identity, similar past student group involvement, or a unifying professional or philanthropic goal. They offer the opportunity for alumni to continue to engage one another and the University through professional development, social networking, volunteer outings, and constructive current-student engagement.

LSU Alumni Colorguard Chapter |
The LSU Colorguard’s sequined history began in 1971 and continues to sparkle in the present day. With a mission to celebrate our shared colorguard experiences, the LSU Colorguard Alumni Chapter was formed in 2019.
Our goal is focused on reconnecting alumni members of the LSU Colorguard with one another. We promote our alumni’s engagement with the current LSU Colorguard through exciting ways such as our annual Alumni Weekend Luncheon, meet and greets during football season, goody bags and alumni merchandise, and more. As our chapter grows, it is our goal to offer more frequent events for our alumni and to be able to support the current colorguard with needed items each season.
We had 144 Colorguard Alumni join us at our 50th anniversary in 2021, and we would love for even more of our alumni to be able to connect through our chapter. If you were a member of the LSU Colorguard at any point in time, we would be thrilled to have you join our LSU Alumni Association chapter.

LSU Alumni Golden Girls Chapter |
The Golden Girl Chapter is comprised of any former student, whether a graduate or non-graduate, who attended the university for at least one semester, who was a performing member of the LSU Golden Girls or LSU Ballet Corp in good standing.
The goal of the Golden Girl Chapter is to continue the impactful relationships that the Golden Girls obtained in their experience as part of the LSU Tiger Band, and support these groups and the University via the Chapter's involvement in the LSU Alumni Association. The Chapter strives to provide for certain program or educational expenses, promotion, and may include mentorship of the current members of the Golden Girls.
We foster continued sisterhood through socials, networking, community outreach, and numerous avenues that support the current Golden Girl line and Golden Girl Alumnae.

LSU Alumni School of Renewable Natural Resources/FWF |
The LSU School of Renewable Natural Resources/Forestry Wildlife and Fisheries Alumni Association (SRNR/FWF AA) seeks to bring together Alumni for the advancement of forestry, wildlife and fisheries related fields in natural resource ecology and management, to improve the standing of graduates in their respective professions, and to support the School through recruiting and mentoring of students and development of scholarships and internships.
Each year, the SRNR/FWF AA hosts receptions for new graduates, student awards, professional lectures, and our Hall of Fame induction. This spring we conducted our first annual Bioblitz at Burden Museum and Gardens, where over 80 students, faculty, and alumni identified over 400 species of birds, mammals, reptiles, amphibians, fish, aquatic invertebrates, insects, and native trees, grasses, and forbs.
Donations to SRNR/FWF AA are also used to support emergency financial needs for SRNR students, as well as travel funds for students to participate in professional conferences and conclaves.
