The Institutional Effectiveness-Teaching Connection is a collaborative product of the Office of Institutional Research and Effectiveness and the CTE whose goal is to translate institutional data into considerations for improving teaching and learning at Miami. Tech Fee Proposals Reminder
The next round of the Student Technology Fee Competitive Proposal Process (Tech Fee) is underway. The deadline to submit proposals for the 2023-2024 awards is midnight on September 24, 2023. Five Principles of Working With International (ELL) Students
This workshop focuses on the diverse academic backgrounds of international (ELL) students at Miami and presents five principles of working with them in content-area courses.

Professional Development Opportunities From the Ohio College Teaching Consortium
The Ohio College Teaching Consortium (OCTC) brings together faculty development leaders from across Ohio's public colleges and universities in order to provide professional development opportunities and resources for all of Ohio’s higher ed faculty. OCTC is now hosted at Miami through the Howe Center for Writing Excellence.
