Kimberley Cartier is the executive assistant to the dean, a role she accepted on Nov. 12 after serving in an interim capacity from July forward.
Kimberley has more than 20 years of executive administrative support experience. She earned a bachelor's degree from Georgia State University and plans to pursue a master's degree soon.
She strives to inspire, influence, and motivate others to drive positive change. Her motto: "Deliver and expect nothing less than the best!"

Donnie Collins began his role as building coordinator II on Nov. 1. He reports to the director of facilities and capital planning and assists with the College's fleet management, coordinating surplus for facilities projects, partnering with administrative contacts and vendors, and more.
Originally from the U.S. Virgin Islands, Donnie holds a bachelor's degree in business administration and is an experienced facilities management professional. He and his family relocated to Georgia in 2003.

Shakiera Jenkins joined the College as our financial analyst III on Dec. 1, reporting to the director of financial administration.
Shakiera holds an associate's degree in business administration, a bachelor's degree in economics, and a master's degree in accounting and financial management.
Professionally, she enjoys identifying and resolving problems for the people she works with. Outside of work, she enjoys dancing, reading, shopping, traveling, and learning new things.

Under the supervision of Regents' Professor Lisa Yaszek (LMC), science fiction minors Maxanthony Mateer and Diya Patel published "Sisters of the Radium Age," a bibliography of women writing utopian fiction, science fiction, fantasy, and horror between 1900 and 1930, on the philosophical blog Hilobrow.

Members of the Urban Research Lab in the Center for Urban Research recently presented research to the Fulton County Reparations Task Force. Brian Y. An (SPP) and undergraduate student Iman Emdad co-presented the Lab's work and potential contributions to a study the Task Force will commission soon.
