The new RESNET consumer website, RESNET HERS Index highlights a Builder of the Month who has their homes HERS Rated. Each month the feature will focus on a new builder.
The first featured Builder of the Month is KB Home. KB Home is one of the nation’s largest and most recognized homebuilders. Its Built to Order approach puts a custom home experience within reach of its customers at an affordable price. KB Home builds new homes across the nation’s top markets stretching from coast to coast. KB Home has all of their homes HERS Rated.
The average HERS Index Score for KB Homes is 55. This equates to an estimated annual average savings of $1,400.
The Builder of the Month features includes a selection of photos of KB Home’s HERS rated homes and an interview with Jacob Atalla, VP of Sustainability Initiatives with KB Home.
