Ranch House Guest Policy
With the holiday season here, many members will have guests in town that may want to visit the Ranch House.
Here are some important rules to remember when checking in your guests:
1. Guests visiting the Ranch House must be accompanied by a Member. Members must check their guests in at the Front Desk upon entry, fill out appropriate paperwork and pay the applicable guest fee(s), which are charged to the Member's account. Members are liable for their guest(s) and any charges they incur.
2. Members are responsible for the conduct and safety of minor-aged guests who are at the Ranch House, even if the child is old enough to use the facility without adult supervision.
3. Each membership may check in up to 8 guests per day.
4. The daily guest fee is $8.00 for adults and $6.00 for children.
Read more about the guest policy in the Rules and Regulations document by clicking here (pg.4).

Green Tip
Please enjoy the following eco-friendly tidbit brought to you by Friends of the Environment:
As you plan for gift-giving and start to shop and purchase presents for friends and family, please consider doing business with local retailers, restaurants, and service providers. Patronizing local businesses results in economic health, a stronger community, and increased resiliency. And by buying locally you help to reduce carbon emissions and air pollution, because fewer resources are required to transport the items you purchase.

Holiday Mail
During the busy holiday season we ask that you practice good postal etiquette and check your mailbox regularly. There is limited space in each box and with the holidays, many residents will be receiving catalogs, packages and other bulk mail. If your box is full, the post office may have to return your mail to the sender.
Remember that if you are heading out of town, you should put your USPS Mail Delivery on hold. You can do so on the USPS website here. Members can also sign up for informed delivery by USPS. This allows you to see photos of your mail prior to its arrival for free! Click here for more information.
If you are interested in unsubscribing to all the junk mail you receive, you can visit the DMAchoice website for more information on how you can control what goes in your mailbox.

Tom's Door Holiday Giving Program
Tom's Door and the Family Resource Center of the Roaring Fork Schools, in conjunction with RVR are again partnering for our 7th annual holiday gift drive for Carbondale Seniors and local families in need. Over the last six years, we have experienced a generous outpouring of contributions. We invite you to participate again in this year's program to share the magic of the holiday season.
If you wish to get involved, visit the RVR Ranch House and choose a key from the wreath on the festive red Tom's Christmas Door. Please complete the donor key tag with your contact information and place that tag in the door's mail slot. There are several gift card options including City Market, Target and Walmart. Our suggested donation is $50. We ask that you return the gift card(s) into the door's mail slot no later than Saturday, Dec. 10.
Additional information about Tom's Door and the Family Resource Center is available next to the red door if you are not familar with these wonderful organizations and the outreach and positive impact they have in our community.
We thank you in advance for your generosity.
