Membership Information
Thank you for being patient with our team over the course of the past few months. Since March, the Office of Campus Recreation has been working non-stop in order to provide virtual offerings and make the necessary steps to ensure a safe re-opening of the Student Recreation Center for both our participants and our staff. Following directives from Indiana State University, local, state and federal governments, we are excited to say that we have an anticipated opening of July 6, 2020. Please see the Letter from the Director- COVID-19 Response on what the re-opening will look like.
As the re-opening of the Student Recreation Center will be a phased in approach, we understand that our members may have a few questions regarding how their membership will be affected. Below is what we are able to offer.
Memberships paid in full prior to COVID-19
Campus Recreation will extend your membership based on the number of days the Student Recreation Center has been closed. This will be done automatically and will require no further action by you, the member. The extension will go into effect July 6, 2020. Refunds will only be considered for extenuating circumstances and requires the completion of the Refund Request Form, this form must be submitted by Friday, May 29, 2020.
Memberships paid month-to-month
Accounts will re-activate starting July 6, 2020. Your account will be pro-rated for the month of July. If you choose not to use the Student Recreation Center upon re-opening, here are your options:
Option 1: Continue to freeze your SRC account. If you choose option 1, please fill out the Freeze Membership Form so that the appropriate actions can be taken on your account.
Option 2: Cancel your membership. If you choose option 2, please fill out the Cancel Membership Form so that the appropriate actions can be taken on your account. If you owe a balance prior to COVID-19, that amount will be billed to you.
Again, thank you for your patience during this unprecedented time. We are excited to get back into the Student Recreation Center as we all navigate the new "normal" moving forward.
