County Fair 4-H Volunteers: Spots Still Available! |
Fair volunteer sign up time is upon us! The Ozaukee County 4-H Leaders Association Board wants to share information with you again this year:
|
-
Each club is required to fulfill a parking shift (which is shared with your general club leader) and an activity team shift (which is shared with your general club leader). Please work with your club’s general leader if one of the above shifts would be of interest to you.
-
In addition, to those shifts that will require limited numbers to fulfill, Leaders Association is asking that each youth fulfills at least 1 shift at the fair in order to meet the club payment requirements. This requirement can be fulfilled with adults. This requirement does not include Cloverbuds.
-
Leaders Association is asking that if you are able and willing to please sign up for additional shifts, as your schedule allows, so they can fill all the needs during the fair! It is important for 4-H’ers to support the Agriculture Society who makes the fair possible.
|
Thank you for all your participation in making the fair a success! Any additional questions, please refer to your club’s general leader.
Please contact the specific coordinator listed in the sign-up link for questions pertaining to each area. Click on link below for sign-up forms.

The Ozaukee County Fair has published the 4-H Youth Premium Book! Please read it over carefully as there have been many changes. Hard copies of the book have been distributed, one to each Club, and are also accessible at local libraries. Please note, this is a 3-year Book. You can find it on the Fair website, along with the updated judging schedule: https://www.ozaukeecountyfair.com/4-h-open-class-school-art-entries
(Please be sure that you are viewing the 4-H Youth Premium Book and 4-H Youth Judging Schedule (and not the Open Class Premium Book & Schedule)).
Additionally, the online entry system, known as ShoWorks, is now open and ready for your entries!
|
- 4-H Clothing Revue participants must be entered by May 31st.
-
As always, registration for all other 4-H entries are due by July 1st, and late entries will NOT be accepted.
- The Ozaukee County Fair is requiring Premise ID numbers for any animal entries (except dogs & rabbits).
- Animal Health Documentation is required for all animal entries (except dogs & rabbits) and has been updated.
-
For additional assistance or if you have other questions regarding your entries, first read your Fair Premium Book. If you have further questions, contact your club leader or email: exhibits@ozaukeecountyfair.com
- Don’t wait until the last minute to enter.
|
Please visit our website: https://www.ozaukeecountyfair.com/ Again, please pay special attention to the 4-H Premium Book to be sure you chose the correct Department and Class.
ShoWorks online entry system has been part of the Ozaukee County Fair for well over a decade. Since most exhibitors have now had several years of experience using online entries the Ozaukee County Fair will ONLY allow exhibitors that are correctly entered in the correct class to exhibit their project(s) at the Fair. To help avoid mistakes in using the online entry system, we have listed some useful tips below:
1) Always begin your entries by reading the Fair Premium Book. This is available online, or by downloading this pdf: https://www.ozaukeecountyfair.com/_files/ugd/5d0b9f_8d2b0ea4aed349579816f978d84536b9.pdf as well as at Ozaukee County Libraries and the UW Extension Office. This is a 3 year book. Find the classes you want to enter in using the Premium Book prior to using the online entry system.
2) Access the ShoWorks online entry system using the link from the Ozaukee County Fair website. Start any entry with your personal information by clicking on “Register” near the top of the screen. Please enter the exhibitor’s first and last name and select “I am a new exhibitor”. 4-H and Open Class exhibitors must register as a “NEW EXHIBITOR” every year. We do not save your account from previous years. 4-H and Open Class exhibitors MUST complete information including name, mailing address, day-time phone number, and club name when prompted to provide. If you are not a member of a 4-H club, select “Open Class” under club name. The program does not automatically take you to “Open Class” or 4-H Departments.
3) When entering, make sure the class number you are selecting online exactly matches the class number in the Premium Book. All 4-H class numbers begin with 4, all open class numbers begin with 3, and all senior class numbers begin with 62. Please verify that you have entered in the correct department.
4) When you have finished entering, PRINT YOUR RECEIPT! Read your receipt to verify you entered into all the correct classes. Bring it along to the Fair to pick up your entry tags. This is your proof that you entered correctly.
5) All 4-H, Open Class, and Senior entries must be completed by July 1. No late entries will be accepted. Submit Your Fair Entries—July 1st Deadline!
6) Deliver your items on the date specified in the Fair Judging Schedule. No late or early deliveries will be accepted. Please only enter projects that you actually intend to bring to the Fair. Remember, no more than one entry per class is allowed.
7) The Ozaukee County Fair is requiring Premise ID numbers for any animal entries (except dogs & rabbits). For additional assistance or if you have other questions regarding your entries, first, read your Fair Premium Book. For further questions or feedback, please contact your club leader or email: premiumlist@ozaukeecountyfair.com

2024 Fair Parking Information |
Available parking passes (including South end weekly passes, reserved passes, and camper passes) will be available for sale online at our website ozaukeecountyfair.com/parking starting Tuesday June 18th. Renewal notices for individuals that purchased a reserved parking pass last year have been emailed an invoice to purchase their same spot for 2024 if they choose. If you have not received that notice please check your spam folder or contact us at (parking@ozaukeecountyfair.com). Renewal purchases must be paid by June 14th to maintain your spot for 2024.
See below for further detail on parking passes:
A) 5 Day General Parking Pass for South End: Similar to prior year, the purchase of these passes will only provide admittance into the parking lot on the south end of the fairgrounds (Gate 1). When purchasing your pass please complete the field related to '4-H club affiliation' so referral revenues can be shared with your club. Customers purchasing these passes will be responsible to pick up their physical pass from the fair office the Monday or Tuesday before fair. Bring your email receipt received from purchase.
B) Reserved Parking: Customers who purchased a reserved parking pass in prior year were sent a renewal notice earlier this month to “auto renew” and pay for their same reserved spot again for 2024. If a customer does not choose to renew by June 14th their parking spot will be returned to the pool of parking spaces available for purchase by all fairgoers for sale on June 18th. Customers purchasing these passes will be responsible to pick up their physical pass from the fair office the Monday or Tuesday before fair. Bring your email receipt received from purchase.
C) Camper Parking: Camper spots are for animal exhibitors only. Camper placement on the grounds will be ‘first come first serve’. Campers can arrive the weekend before fair but no later than Tuesday July 30th (placement by horse arena area only). All customers wishing to camp at fair must pay upon placement of their camper (same day) via our online website. Camper parking includes a vehicle parking pass to allow you to park a vehicle by your camping spot. Customers can pick up these vehicle passes (camper and vehicle) from the fair office the Monday or Tuesday before fair. Bring your email receipt received from purchase.
