Speed networking connects students with industry leaders and career opportunities |
Advancing students’ career prospects and delivering networking opportunities is key to the CPH mission. Opportunities take many forms, from interdisciplinary hands-on experiences to networking with high-level public health professionals. The present met the future when seven members of the CPH Board—Carolyn A. Taylor, Les Taylor, Ondrea McIntyre-Hall, Elma Levy, Patricia Haresign, Anton Arbatov, and Yoshie Davison—gathered with students for a “speed networking” event.

Opt-In to Teach in Canvas in Spring 2025 |
Faculty who would like to teach in Canvas in Spring 2025 must complete the Opt-In Form.
Remember to list all courses and sections you would like to teach in Canvas. Teaching a Canvas course in Fall or Summer 2024 does not automatically allocate that same Canvas course to you in Spring 2025.
Not ready to make the jump yet, but would like to start developing courses for Summer 2025 and beyond?
You can request a “Sandbox Course” to prepare for next year. Select Canvas > Canvas Course Site > Sandbox when completing the form.
Contact CPH Instructional Designers Barbara Helmick and Terri Ann Guingab at HLTHLRN@gmu.edu for Canvas transition support.
CPH Canvas Faculty Mentors Allison Miner and Lila Fleming are ready to collaborate with you on course design and innovative teaching strategies supported in Canvas.
