Fords in Four
1. What inspires you?
The legacy I hope to leave by having a memorable impact on the people around me. Considering how I want to be remembered in the future inspires me to fill every day with significant moments.

2. What is the secret to finding success?
Balance ... I am still searching for it! Every week, I do an honest personal status check in five life categories: relationships, health and wellness, financial independence, spirituality, and hobbies and interests.

3. What is one lesson you've learned running The Taco Truck?
Servant leadership, which was instilled in me through athletics at Haverford and during my lacrosse career at Cornell. At The Taco Truck, it was easy to control everything in the beginning when we had just one truck. Nine months later, we opened our first restaurant. I tried to maintain all control but quickly learned that I would need to loosen the reins. I surrounded myself with motivated individuals and put their needs first, investing in their development and empowering them to succeed. The result has been a motivated team performing at a high level.

4. What's the most exciting thing about your industry?
I love being able to impact every guest's day through the quality of the food we share and the memorable experiences that we create. We have no idea what is going on in someone's life before they walk in our doors; all we can do is make a positive impression on their day when they are with us. The ripple effect of our actions can improve the lives of our guests and the larger community.
