April is Cancer Control Month
Here is a brief history of comprehensive cancer control and CDC funded initiatives across the countries. Cancer Control Month is observed in April every year throughout the country. This national observance was instituted by President Franklin D. Roosevelt, who saw that cancer was as deadly as the wars that people were fighting. Learn more here!
