On Jan. 29, first-year Radford University Physician Assistant (PA) students in Roanoke volunteered with Roanoke’s Homelessness Assistance Team to complete the Point In Time count. Each year the PA class has the opportunity to participate, and it helps them learn about the homeless population in Roanoke, as well as provide some care bags and resources to those they work with.

Thank you to the team for their dedication to this population and fellow volunteers for braving the cold temperatures!

To access the internal career site, search “Internal Career Site” in OneCampus. After selecting the tile, press the red “Click Here” button to enter your SSO credentials and view current internal postings. A job aid for the new site is available on the PageUp Resources webpage.

At McConnell Library on the main campus

The Commons on Level 3 has a variety of restaurant-style booths, couches, chairs and tables, all situated near windows and plants, as well as near the friendly folks at the Research Help Desk. While you’re there, check out the manga and graphic novels or our young adult book collection. Further back on Level 3, the Andrew W. Ross Student Art Gallery offers tables and chairs amid a changing display of student-created artwork. On the other side of the floor, Information Literacy Center B offers chairs and tables you can arrange to your liking and transforms into the Lofi Lounge several times each week. There’s no better way to get in the mood for studying.
- An open space on Level 4 offers cozy spots with area rugs, plants, lamps, couches and tables and chairs, all located near vending machines and windows with beautiful views. Also on Level 4, our friends at the Harvey Center provide glassed-in study rooms that are available for general use after the center closes each day.
- Rooms with a garden view are available on Level 2. Rooms 230-B, 230-C and 230-D overlook the Alumni Gardens.
