Flamingo Collection is a new restaurant that has opened its doors in Riyadh. The restaurant is owned by the Tashas Group. The concept of the restaurant is that it houses three unique dining experiences. One of these experiences is a sharing menu for two, dubbed the “African Lounge”.
Rooibos tea features prominently on this menu! Rooibos can be found on their beverage menu as part of their hot drink offerings, but it also features on the cocktail list.
Patrick Cupid is a luxury fashion designer who recently launched his fall-winter 2024 collection. The collection is named “Primordial” and consists of bespoke menswear items.
In an interview with The Hype Magazine, Cupid confirmed that the collection is focused on the use of two primary colours: Rooibos and Gibraltar. The inclusion of Rooibos as part of the colour palette of the collection is due to the fact that it has a warm, earthy tone.
“Rooibos embodies the essence of fire and earth, while Gibraltar symbolizes the interplay of water and atmosphere,” Cupid explained.
The South African Rooibos Council recently released an article where it explains how you can include Rooibos as part of your Easter celebrations this year, by creating the “ultimate Easter tea”.
To fully capture the essence of this holiday in your Rooibos beverage, they suggest tips like trying a variety of Rooibos blends, creating your own iced tea and trying different sweeteners to make your beverage even more enjoyable.
