Doctoral Student Wins Prestigious Award at Recent Research Competition
The Division on Career Development and Transition (DCDT) of the Council for Exceptional Children (CEC) recognizes outstanding emerging researchers who contribute to the field of career development and transition for individuals with disabilities. The prestigious Patricia L. Sitlington Emerging Researcher Award was featured during a special poster session at the International DCDT Conference in Chantilly, Virginia, where finalists presented their research to a panel of judges.
Judges evaluated the posters based on several criteria, including the clarity and significance of the research, the researchers' ability to articulate their study's purpose and implications, and the alignment between research questions, methodology, results, and conclusions.
