Run for the Roses revival a great success
| |
NeighborWorks recently partnered with The Country Club of Scranton to be the benefiting organization of the annual Kentucky Derby Party – Run for the Roses. It was held on May 7, 2022 at the Country Club of Scranton.
The event featured food, an open bar, cigar lounge & bourbon bar, derby drink features and a 50/50 raffle. A portion of the event ticket and 50/50 raffle proceeds benefitted NeighborWorks, and we raised over $3,500! Our thanks to the Country Club in hosting a great event, and we are looking forward to the next one!

Staff attends NeighborWorks Training Institute
| |
Three of our staff members, Pamela Anslinger, Kathi Tavera and Parker Dorsey, recently attended the NeighborWorks Training Institute in Los Angeles from May 23-27. It was the first in-person NTI in over two years. They engaged in training relating to homeowner counseling, neighborhood revitalization, strategic planning and marketing communications. This was an excellent event where staff members got to network with peers from near and far.
