Transportation Staff Rolls out a Message to the William Penn Class of 2020!

The staff of our Colonial Transportation Department put together this great video as a tribute to the William Penn graduating class of 2020.

Watch Saturday, June 6th at 10 AM

Kudos to the Cook!

Colonial’s own Sue Holden, Cook/Lead Worker at Wilmington Manor Elementary School was selected as the 2020 Delaware School Nutrition Association Employee of the Year!  Holden demonstrates a passion for feeding children every day at Wilmington Manor Elementary.  She treats all of her students with respect, compassion, and love as if they were her own children. Congrats, and thank you for showing the entire state of Delaware Who We Are!

Way to go Noah!

Last week teachers and staff at George Read loaded up in their vehicles for a drive-by parade to honor Noah Stone. Noah placed FIRST in “Creed Speaking” at the Delaware State FFA Convention in March. He won an opportunity to compete at the national FFA Convention in Indianapolis, Indiana. However, due to Covid-19, those plans were canceled. Noah was deeply disappointed when the convention was canceled but seeing the surprise visit brought a smile to his face and donations from Olive Garden, Cakes by Kim, and Desserts by Dana made the day extra sweet!
