Friends,
Regretfully, it is my sad duty to inform you that early Friday morning, two members of our student body were killed in an automobile accident in Greene County. Ivan Puella and Alexandria Snyder were both accounting majors in our Griffin College of Business. Beth and I have added Ivan's and Alex's families, friends, classmates, and professors to our prayers.
As we await more details on their services, I remind our entire Red Wolves community of the help that is available at the A-State Counseling Center for any of us who are grieving and need a shoulder to lean on. You can access them directly at the Reng Student Union, Room 2203, or by phone at 870-972-2318. Remember that we are here for each other, and these challenging times need not be experienced alone.
Please remember we also have Pack Support as a way for you to express for any question, concern, or need. Emails to PackSupport@AState.edu are reviewed by our CARE Team of counseling professionals. As you know, we also lost Equine Management major Hannah Reynolds on Thursday evening.
Our thoughts and prayers are with all three families and their A-State communities during this difficult time.
Kelly
