Dear Class of 2024,
Every May, our school community comes together to celebrate the graduation of our senior class. At Fenwick, we call our graduation ceremony a commencement.
Although our seniors have successfully completed their high school credits and will be receiving a Fenwick High School diploma, our community prefers to focus on the future and not the past. Our commencement exercise is a beginning of a new journey: the start to a college career, and in the view of our beloved alumni community, it is the beginning of a life committed to servant leadership.
Although this spring has been modified by a pandemic, I assure you, the Fenwick Friars are ready to celebrate the commencement of our graduating seniors and welcome a new Friar class. The Friars of tomorrow will become the Friars of today through the summer transition. The Fenwick class of 2024 will be welcomed to our campus and will begin their journey surrounded by a supportive and dedicated faculty, a talented student body, and a community that will continue to hold the highest expectations in and out of the classroom.
This pandemic has created some less than ideal situations across the globe, but as President Abraham Lincoln once wrote, “Human action can be modified to some extent, but human nature cannot be changed.”
We will return and we will continue to move forward as an educational lighthouse to our community. The class of 2024 will usher in a new wave of talented servant leaders.
Please take a moment to read about a few updates for the class of 2024 and to see some highlights from recent days.
Warmest Regards,
