June 3, 2024
Happy June—it’s finally arrived! If you’re just joining as a member of the American University community, then welcome to our weekly newsletter series! Whether you’ve been with us for a month or for just for the weekend, you can find an archive of all of our previous emails on the orientation website. These newsletters are chock full of information to help you learn about upcoming deadlines, resources, and opportunities as you prepare to join us in the fall.
Room selection begins today! By now, you should have been assigned a timeslot for room selection. If you need a refresher on housing applications, roommate and room selection, you can find more details in our May 6 newsletter. While room selection will begin for some students this week, you will still be guaranteed a spot on campus as long as you complete the application. Also this week, we're announcing registration for the New Eagle Essentials webinar series as well as the student pre-orientation Canvas course details.
Speaking of webinars, First-Year Advising is hosting the New Student Registration Webinar will be held on June 5 and June 11. You can find out how to register for one of the webinar dates here underneath the "Registration Resources" section.
