Fall Fun Night for Kids, next Wednesday, October 18th
Fall Fun Night for Kids, next Wednesday, October 18th
                                                                                                           October 11, 2017
We are Parkway Hills - My family and I are still learning what this means for us as we enter into a new church family, but I wonder, what does this mean for you? In worship over the next 5 weeks, we will explore this together using Parkway Hills’ core values; welcome, grow, serve, and celebrate. (Read about them on our website here.)  I hope you will commit to being a presence in worship October 15th through November 12th as we make time and space to listen for the ways we are church together and pray for how we may more fully step into our call as disciples in this place. Each week, we will be offered a new challenge as we approach 2018.  How might we better welcome? How do we strive to grow our faith?  How do we serve inside and outside the church? Do we celebrate? All of this will lead up to our Consecration Sunday, November 12th where we will return our pledge cards and commit to financially support the mission and ministry of Parkway Hills in 2018. (Look for your letter with a pledge card and details this week!)
I am excited about the upcoming weeks of worship as we reflect on what it means to be Parkway Hills, a congregation experiencing God as we welcome, grow, serve, celebrate, and give!
Peace in Christ,
Dawn
