Location: Bethancourt Ballroom (room 2300) in the Memorial Student Center (MSC)*. Please use the entrance located on the corner of Joe Routt Bld. and Gene Stallings Blvd.

*The MSC is a living memorial and tribute to Aggies who lost their lives in wars past, present, or future. As a memorial, those entering the building are asked to remove their hats. Those walking outside are asked not to walk on the grass surrounding the facility, as a sign of respect to fallen Aggies.

Don't forget to review the Pre-NSC Checklist and finish any last minute to-dos to prepare for your NSC! Below is a list of tasks that you should complete before arriving for your NSC. If not completed, these could impact your ability to register for classes on Day 2.

THINGS TO DO BEFORE YOUR NSC
|
|
|
|
|
As part of your orientation, you and your guests have the opportunity to sign up for an optional campus walking tour, or choose from three different residence hall tours. If you would like to participate in one of the tours, you must register before the session. You can register for tours through the Appelt Aggieland Visitor Center.
|
|
|
| Register your family members in the Applicant Information System (AIS). The deadline to register guests for your conference is 11:59 p.m. tonight, May 16. Onsite registration is available at an additional charge.

| The weather will be hot and humid during your NSC. We recommend wearing comfortable clothes and walking shoes as you will be traveling around campus for various meetings. Campus classrooms, meeting rooms, and auditoriums tend to be chilly, so we suggest bringing a jacket. Be sure to check the weather forecast in advance of your NSC as a rain jacket or umbrella may be necessary.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
|
|
|
|
Must I attend both days of my NSC?
Yes. In order to provide a comprehensive orientation experience, you are required to complete the entire NSC. Failure to complete your full NSC will result in a registration hold on your account.
Do I need to print off my NSC parking permit?
The license plate you used to generate your NSC parking permit will serve as your permit during your NSC. The West Campus Garage is the most convenient place to park for Day 1 of the NSC. You will need to scan in for this garage and can access your parking permit barcode through your transport.tamu.edu account.

Code Maroon is Texas A&M University's emergency notification system that gives the University the ability to communicate health and safety information in an emergency.
