This year, Arts NC State and the Packapalooza planning committee set out to take the experience up a notch. This year’s festival, set for Saturday, Aug. 24, will include Improv Everywhere’s “The MP3 Experiment,” a participatory audio performance experience.

• Don’t miss the Career Development Center’s Wolfpack Welcome Week bash, designed to help students, faculty and staff connect with potential employers. This event is scheduled for Tuesday, Aug. 20 at 1 p.m. at the Career Development Center.
• NC State LIVE presents beloved Chicago comedy troupe The Second City again this fall on Aug. 23. Tickets go on sale Aug. 21.
• The Department of Performing Arts and Technology presents the Fall 2024 Dance Faculty Concert featuring works by Amy Beasley, Autumn Mist Belk, Brianna Forbes and Tara Z. Mullins as well as the newest member, Allison Beaty. Tickets will be available beginning Aug. 21 at 10 a.m. through Ticket Central.
• NC State’s Staff Senate Backpack Drive is now open! Help NC State parents in need get their kids ready for school.
• Registration for fall 2024 Crafts Center classes is open to the public! Limited space remains for select classes.
• Registration for the Moonlight Howl and Run on Aug. 22 is now open! A signature Wolfpack Welcome Week event, the 1.3-mile run is a great way to actively get to know campus. This event is open to students, faculty and staff.
• Packapalooza 2024 is set for Saturday, Aug. 24 from 2-10 p.m. Volunteer sign up is open through Aug. 20.
