Easter Eggstravaganza Success
Thank you to the (about) 100 members who joined us for Easter festivities last weekend!

Green Tip
Want to have a more sustainable Easter? Choose eco-friendly Easter eggs. Rather than buying cheap plastic eggs, buy refillable eggs made from corn, recycled plastic, paper, or wood, that can be used year after year. If you decide to paint real eggs, be sure to use natural or food grade dyes and the eggshells can be composted. An Easter basket can easily be made from a basket you already have and simply decorated with Spring colors. And instead of filling your basket with shreds of plastic grass, opt for colorful fabric, recycled paper shreds, or edible Easter grass. So let's celebrate a green Easter!

Did You Know? Tennis Court Prep
RVR is a special place and there are various details about the community that many may not be aware of. To help inform homeowners about all of RVR's unique features, we will run a "Did You Know" section each week in the newsletter.
It's that time of year when homeowners start asking, "When will the clay tennis courts open?"
RVR clay courts are beloved by the community and we boast one of the finest tennis facilities in the valley. The preparation of the five Har-Tru clay courts is a delicate job and requires a lot of work from RVR crews to get them ready for opening day. Crews are often met with cold and wet weather roadblocks that put a halt to their efforts. Reconditioning of the clay courts after winter months includes five segments: cleaning, leveling, top dressing, rolling and laying lines.
Click here to learn more about the details of these five steps and how the process unfolds.
We thank you for your patience while our crews work hard to get the courts in perfect shape for our members and guests!

We've had an increase in Home Improvement Application submissions such as raised gardens, fence installation, staining, tree removal, tree planting, roofing projects and more. We love that homes in RVR are getting extra care and attention!
For those of you who would like to learn more about the home improvement process in RVR, we invite you to visit the Home Improvement Page on the website here.

Deer Fencing
Due to lower elevation snow pack, we anticipate deer to migrate later in the season this year. The deer fencing removal deadline has been extended to Wednesday, May 31. You may remove fencing at any time, but must have it down and properly stored by the deadline.
