Worship with us online tomorrow
January 24, 2026

Dear Partner in Ministry,

Due to the winter storm, worship will be virtual on Sunday, January 25th. The service will be streamed tomorrow at 11:00am on YouTube and there are many wonderful components to the servce!
- Rev. Meghan Brown is preaching the second installment of our sermon series, "The Church is.... a community of faith."
Megan Brew shares her story of how faith, family and community helped bring her through mental illness.
- The Prelude and Postlude are played on the beautiful French symphonic organ at St Peter’s Catholic Church on Capitol Hill.
- Special music is by the St Thomas Boy Choir, The Choir of the Shrine of the Immaculate Conception, Washington Bach Consort, and the Relic Ensemble.
- We commission Trey Fields as he leaves DC.
- Worship leadership offered by members of the congreation including Susan Bell, Liza Boyd, Jack Gillum, and Bill Krokowski.
The virtual bulletin can be found here. Thanks to Mark Willey for all the filming and editing.
GPC elders who live within walking distance will be at the church at 11am tomorrow morning to open for a brief time of scripture reading and prayer for those who can safely gather. All other church activities on Sunday are cancelled.
Please watch your email, check the website, or be in touch with church staff with any questions about event cancellations or changes. We will re-open the building as soon as it is safe to do so.

Stay safe. Take care of your neighbors. Peace be with you.
