We absolutely love this week's featured photo submission. RVR Homeowner, Jim Ramsey, took this lovely shot of a cotton candy sky over RVR last Wednesday evening. Jim shared, " What a beautiful place we get to call home!" We completely agree with you, Jim!
We'd like to feature your picture in an upcoming newsletter. If you're interested in having your photo highlighted in the weekly news, please submit images to: jessica.hennessy@rvrma.org.

Electric bikes are very popular and we are seeing more and more of them around the neighborhood. If this is your favorite method of transportation throughout RVR, we ask that you please exercise caution and follow the rules of the road. Wearing a helmet is always a good idea. There are plenty of opportunities for your electric bike to shine outside of the neighborhood, keep your speed in check and always follow the posted speed limit.
E - bikes are popular with many, ages young and old. Please be sure to relay this information to your children as well!

Green Tip | Eco-Friendly Pet Toys |
Being a responsible pet owner is about more than socializing, feeding, and picking up after your furry friend. Choosing plastic-free toys is a great way to reduce plastic exposure and your pet's plastic pawprint. Pets love to chew, so the risks around toxicity, choking, and digestive issues are important considerations when you choose their toys. Dogs and cats can shred plastic toys in a matter of minutes creating swallowable plastic fragments that may lead to a very sick pet and a very expensive vet visit. Switching to durable, eco-friendly toys saves time, money, and your pet's health. Consider toys made from wood, rope, hemp, and other sustainable materials to reduce plastic waste.

The National Sheep Dog Trials | Volunteers Needed! |
|
|
It has been 4 years since our valley enjoyed hosting the National Sheep Dog Trials. It is a large community effort of participants, spectators, volunteers, vendors and sponsors.
One of the most exciting opportunities is to sponsor a participating dog. For $100 you gain access to the event all week, keep track of your dog’s success and are invited to the barn party/dinner on Saturday night. It’s great fun mingling with the dog handlers that come from all over the country. If you think you’d like to sponsor a dog, you can find more information below. You can pick a specific dog or you can be assigned a dog. All dogs are winners to have made it to the finals.

With school back in session, children are traveling through the neighborhood on their way to and from school. We wanted to send a kind reminder to drivers to slow down and remain cautious while driving in RVR.
The posted speed limit throughout RVR is 20 mph. Please help keep our kids safe and do not exceed 20 mph at any time while driving in RVR.
